The Do’s and the Donuts🍩 ⁣⁣

Keto Chocolate Donuts

This is another food that goes very quickly, I love making donuts, it is simply delicious. I love adding toppings to my donuts so for a few I added some shredded coconut, literally the best!. What are some of your favorite donut flavors? My absolute favorite is bacon and maple (recipe coming soon) which in my opinion should be eaten everyday and should not be shared (but that’s just me).

For the chocolate donuts you will need the following ingredients -⁣

2 egg⁣s⁣
1 cup almond flour⁣⁣
1/4 cup Swerve granular sugar ⁣
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder⁣⁣
2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk ⁣⁣
1 tsp baking Powder⁣⁣
1/2 tsp vanilla⁣⁣
1/4 tsp nutmeg⁣⁣
1/4 tsp salt⁣⁣

Optional – shredded coconut
⁣⁣
Glaze ⁣
3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk ⁣
3 tbsp Swerve confectioners sugar ⁣
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder⁣
1 tsp vanilla⁣

Instructions⁣⁣
⁣Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease donut pan well (coconut oil).

Combine flour, cocoa, sugar, salt, nutmeg, and baking powder in a medium bowl and whisk until all ingredients are combined.⁣

In a separate bowl add almond milk, vanilla, and eggs in a mixing bowl and combine.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Add dry ingredients to wet mix, whisk until just combined.⁣ Do not over-mix.⁣
⁣⁣
Pour batter into a large ziplock bag or cake bag (snip end) and add batter into prepared donut pan filling each cavity 3/4 full. ⁣You can also spoon in.⁣

Bake donuts for 12 – 15 minutes or until a toothpick check comes out clean. ⁣

Cool in pan for 5 minutes.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For the glaze, I just mixed all the ingredients to a smooth consistency. Dunk donuts in glaze and set on cooling wire to dry.⁣⁣
